Redeeming People Through The Message of Jesus Christ In The Power of The Holy Spirit
The Church must strive to recapture the mission of the Gospel and restore the passion of Jesus Christ by being renewed in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. This divine encounter enables us to release creative innovation that energizes movement and recovers lost people reconciling them to God through His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16).

To FINISH the GREAT COMMISSION, we must INTERCEDE, making prayer and worship the highest privilege and greatest responsibility of every believer.

CHURCH PLANTING & DEVELOPMENT
Planting Churches That Plant Churches & Developing Existing Churches
The mission of the gospel was originated and designed to grow: to move. This mission is forward in momentum. Movement is the defining word that encapsulates Church Planting & Development in Arizona. The “M” word itself communicates that we are advancing, growing and being productive. Movement is Core to who the Arizona Church of God Organization is and who it must be always.
Our Movement embraces, fosters, and boldly advances the planting of new churches among everyone possible everywhere possible every moment possible. Dr. C. Peter Wagner’s most famous and often quoted statement remains true and real church planting, “…single most effective evangelistic methodology under heaven.” (Church Planting for A Greater Harvest, 1990). We are the Church of God in ARIZONA and WE PLANT CHURCHES.
Planting Churches is the beginning of lifelong journeys. All who are traveling on these journeys are best served and most productive when their journeys are together journeys. Church Development among the Arizona Church of God is all about together journeys. We desire to encourage, strengthen, draw out of one another the greatest productivity and live life in a community that is better because we are together. Developing churches is an essential action in the life of the church. This action walking the Together Journeys of Faith following Jesus Christ includes embracing church ministries that make people better. Some of these ministries include Men’s Discipleship, Women’s Discipleship and ministry among Maturing Generations. Church Development enforces movement through Making Disciples Who make Disciples who will Plant Churches that Plant Churches.

Reaching Children, Adolescents & Emerging Adults
Children presently being born are breathing their first breathe of air in a world that stimulates their senses through technology unlike any generation of children previously born. This being the case, there is another stark reality that has emerged. In the most technologically advanced age, with the greatest healthcare and availability to knowledge, children are today faced with great challenges. Relationally, many families are wounded, broken, and blended. They range in home environments from helicopter parents to parentless lives. We as an organization have opportunities corporately and locally to bring compassion into the life world of a child, help them receive Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and achieve their greatest dreams. Our children’s activities and ministries are designed with this goal in mind.
Youth ministry has traditionally and historically focused on the teenage years in the life development of people. Today it is essential that ministry to emerging generations focus on children, adolescents, and emerging adults. Adolescent ministry focuses on youth in their teenage years. Experiences include events and seek to lead to, embrace and enhance discipleship among teenage youth. The experiences that happen in Arizona include Youth Camp, Winterfest, and Teen Talent.
Emerging Adults Ministry
Presently there are Six Generations of people alive in this nation. The youngest of the Millennial Generation is entering puberty and the Homeland Generation is still being born. The journey of human development has lengthened in such a manner that what Builders, Boomer’s and even Generation Xr’s understood as standard and norm have shifted. Emerging Adults are seen by many (according to authors David P Setran and Chris A. Kiesling) as “spiritual but not religious”. They are unsettled wanderers enjoying their season of youth before they become “real adults”. Psychologist Jeffrey Arnett describes Emerging Adulthood as the, “Age of instability”. “Emerging Adults are, on most sociological measures, the least religious adults in the United States today.” This challenge of reaching the Emerging Adulthood population is one of the greatest opportunities for the church to embrace in the 21st century.
ARIZONA SCHOOL OF MINISTRY
Making Disciples And Training Leaders for Ministry
An educated world deserves an educated church. This reality has in many ways caught the Pentecostal Charismatic church world by surprise. The Bible is clear in that preparation is essential. Elijah mentored Elisha, Elisha had a School of Prophets, Jesus trained the twelve and Paul exhorted Timothy. We are developing the Arizona School of Ministry to equip and train ministers to be effective church planters, pastors and team members. The Arizona School of Ministry currently offers the Calling and Ministries Studies program, and the Ministerial Internship Program and plans are in development to launch certificate level courses throughout the state of Arizona during 2016.
Mobilizing World, Cross-Cultural & Native American Missions & Outreach
These are days of powerful awakening in which the Body of Christ has great opportunity to reach around the world strategically. Arizona is a gateway state thriving with refugees, immigrants, and 22 Federally recognized Native American Tribes. Our reach to the world in Arizona includes our neighborhoods, communities, towns, cities within Arizona and our Great Commission endeavor around the world. This year brings to us the tremendous opportunity to move forward with new fresh proactive strategic vision to accomplish global gospel mission ministry. Launching out we are committed to gathering the Arizona Church of God together around Church of God World Missions projects and ministry that reaches people groups and native Americans living in Arizona.
